Beginner Exerciser

Choreography 101

"Fun music" was the motivator for adding this ingenious segment into Christi's Solid Gold Series.

Over the past few years, Christi has been flooded with emails from home exercisers that have heard about the fabulous music she uses, but freely admit to her that they are beginners and are a bit intimidated by her choreography level. WELL, Choreography 101 is Christi's solution for these people.

Choreography 101 is a 20 minute tutorial segment for beginners, found only on her Solid Gold DVDs. It's purpose is two-fold:

  1. It gives the new step or cardio exerciser an opportunity to learn the basic movements, terminology, and proper foot placement, all in a slow and
    non-intimidating environment.
  2. It gives you a GREAT workout. While learning all this valuable movement information, Choreography 101 doubles as a fabulous workout.

If beginners use Choreography 101 enough times, they will soon find themselves able to join in with the modifiers during all of Christi's other workouts.


Modifiers


What are Modifiers? Who are the Modifiers?

As usual, Christi is always looking for ways to help participants achieve success with her workouts. She does this extremely well through her "Modifiers."

The Modifiers are the folks in the video that are to the center, back and sides of the set. There are usually four of them, dressed all alike and very visible. Christi recognizes that the majority of her participants are at a modifier level, so she wants to make sure that the modifiers are the predominant force on the set.

These modifiers work very hard to show all modifications to the more complex choreography. You will see that they rarely jump or spin. As Christi moves through each combination, she will get to a "modifier level" before she moves on and adds the trickier stuff. At that point, modifiers will stay with the less complex movements while Christi and her 2 models up front begin to whirl, jump and shimmy.

MoveMaster™

Back by popular demand. MoveMaster is Christi's answer to those that spend too much time with the rewind button on their remote control. She recognizes that if she were the one watching the workout, she too would be punching that rewind button a fair amount.

MoveMaster is simply where Christi' goes through, in slow motion, and shows all the specific choreography taught within the workout. She even turns her back to the camera so she is on the same lead leg as the participant.

One more way Christi adds EXCELLENCE to her workouts!
